Across the Northeast (Northeastern Woodlands), Native Peoples have retained numerous rights that support their access to land, cultural practices, hunting, and fishing. It is vital for communities and land stewards to understand these retained rights. The Forest Climate Resilience Program is working with our Indigenous Partners to create an educational resource that explains these rights. We look forward to the opportunity to share this important information once we have completed this collaboration with Native Communities.
